Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and DM Flow. Please read them before you use DM Flow. They are written in plain English; if anything is unclear, email us.

The agreement

DM Flow (dmflow.app) is operated by MudBloom Studio, India (“we”, “us”). By signing in or using DM Flow, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use DM Flow for a business, you agree for that business and confirm you may do so.

The service

DM Flow helps you answer Instagram comments and direct messages. You can send a private reply to comments that contain your keywords, reply to DMs by keyword, read and answer conversations in one inbox, and see analytics. We may add, change or remove features. When a change removes something important, we tell you first.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding agreement.
  • You sign in with a Google account. Keep that account secure: you are responsible for what happens in your DM Flow account.
  • Tell us at once at hello@dmflow.app if you think someone else has used your account.

Instagram and Meta

  • DM Flow needs an Instagram Business or Creator account, connected through Instagram’s official login. DM Flow is not affiliated with Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • You must follow Instagram’s Terms of Use, its Community Guidelines and Meta’s policies that apply to your account and your messages.
  • Meta controls Instagram’s API. Meta can change it, limit it or end our access at any time, and Instagram may refuse a message. We cannot promise that every message is delivered.
  • DM Flow follows Instagram’s messaging rules, such as the 24-hour reply window and one private reply per comment. Read the rules for Instagram DM automation.

Acceptable use

You must not use DM Flow to:

  • send spam, or messages people did not ask for;
  • send content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, harassing or that infringes other people’s rights;
  • collect or use people’s data in ways the law does not allow;
  • get around Instagram’s limits or rules, or DM Flow’s security;
  • copy, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt DM Flow, or access it in ways we do not offer.

You are responsible for your messages and for having a lawful reason to message the people you reply to. Where the law requires it (for example in California and Germany), tell people when they are talking to automation.

Your content and data

Your automations, replies and messages remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and send them only to provide DM Flow to you. For the data of the people who message your account, we act on your instructions, as our privacy policy explains. You are responsible for telling your audience how you use their data.

Fees

DM Flow is free to use at the moment. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you at least 30 days before any charge applies, and we will never charge you without your agreement.

Availability

We work to keep DM Flow running and secure, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. It may sometimes be slow or unavailable, for example during maintenance or when Instagram has problems. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption, or for actions Instagram or Meta take on your account;
  • our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and INR 5,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You agree to compensate us for claims that third parties bring against us because of your messages or your breach of these terms.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using DM Flow at any time. To close your account and delete its data, follow how to delete your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or DM Flow at risk, or when the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you first and explain why.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes, we tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using DM Flow after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using DM Flow and delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to solve the problem together. The competent courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
